The Programs Committee organizes many fun and exciting program events for the Laguna Beach branch members each year. Details of upcoming programs can be found in the branch newsletter, Laguna Waves, and on the Calendar page of this website.

September 13 Member Appreciation Day. "The Changing Role of Women in Today’s Iran.” Info will be available about membership, interest groups, programs and events. For info call Barbara at 949.248.5139. Members and prospective members welcome.
October 4 Musical Performance. Laguna Beach Live concert co-sponsored by AAUW Laguna Beach. Soprano Yolanda Mitchell West and ensemble perform traditional and classical music. Laguna College of Art and Design.
October 26 Leadership Dinner at Tivoli Too! in Laguna Beach. 11th annual event honoring outstanding women in the community. For information call Carol at 497-0986 or Click here to download the Leadership Dinner Flyer.
November 8 International Travel Salon featuring travel tales and photos by members and their spouses.
December 6 Wine Tasting Special Event  featuring the wines of Australia. Proceeds will go to our scholarship fund. Wines introduced by wine consultant, Ann Stephens.
January 23 Interbranch Brunch.  A joint program with neighboring AAUW branches — Mission Viejo, Saddleback Valley and San Clemente. Topic: “Women in Science” by speaker Susan V. Bryant, Vice Chancellor of Research and Professor of Biological Sciences, UC Irvine.
February 27 Legal Advocacy Luncheon. Member Michelle Reinglass will be the featured speaker. Details to be announced.
March 13 Literary Luncheon - Laguna Beach Festival of Women Authors at the Surf & Sand Resort, Laguna Beach. 23nd annual event. For info contact Kim at 949.493.4423.
April 24 Community Celebration of the Young Reader featuring a new children’s book You Are a Very Special You written and illustrated by member Elsa Brizzi. Laguna Beach Library.
May 19

"What Do You See," an interactive program aimed at understanding stereotypes, teaching respect and tolerance led by the O. C. Human Relations Commission. Dana Point Library. Laguna Beach at Main Beach.

May 22 Women’s Health Day. A collaborative effort with AAUW-LB and the Laguna Beach Woman’s Club assisting the Laguna Beach Community Clinic.
June 19 Annual Installation of Officers.  Brunch and Installation. All members welcome.
